Is Lee residence a licensed facility?

Yes, we are licensed by the State of Florida. (License Number is 8536). Our last State Survey was completed on July 10, 2001 and the State found zero deficiencies!

 

What is the monthly cost per resident?

Our customary monthly charge is between $3500 and $4000 a month, based on the needs of each resident. Typically, these rates are about 1/2 of what a nursing home charges. Our monthly charge is all inclusive with the exception of prescription medication and incontinency supplies. Our residents enjoy 3 meals a day plus a daily tea time. We do all their laundry and supply fresh linen daily.

 

What should I bring with me?

Bring clothes (every-day and dress-up), personal items (tooth brush, family photo, etc.) and any medications that you need. You may also choose to bring your own pillow. Everything should be labeled with the resident's name. Lee Residence provides linens, towels, etc..

 

What is a typical day like at Lee Residence?

A typical day starts early here. Baths/grooming/oral care then breakfast at 9:00am. After breakfast we take care of hair and do some "Sit-ercise". Lunch at 1:00pm. Tea Time is 3pm and Dinner is at 6pm. Snacks and an assortment of beverages is always available.

Are there any special activities?

Activities consist of Daily Outings/Movies/Games and Exercise or Stretches.

We have a lovely back porch for enjoying the fresh air and walking. Our beautiful swimming pool for aquatics exercising and swimming. There are always lots of books, newspapers & magazines available for every interest.

We also do sing-alongs. We even have some of our ladies' family members who come and treat us to special music.

We do hair and manicures/pedicures. Cuts and Perms are at the client's expense, but the staff makes sure that everyone looks nice on a daily basis. We have a licensed hairdresser that comes and does cuts and perms.

 

What are the visiting hours?
